Powerlet Reacquired by Original Founders

Powerlet, a company that specializes in rugged outdoor power outlets, cabling and Luggage Electrix for the powersport industry was reacquired by two of it's original founders.

Sterling Heights, Michigan — Jan 18, 2019 — Powerlet, a company that specializes in rugged outdoor power outlets, cabling and Luggage Electrix for the powersport industry was reacquired by two of it's original founders. A new Michigan company, Powerlet LLC, has been formed to complete the acquisition. While some operations and shipments may start in early December, "we expect to be fully running by January 15th, 2019" says one of the original founders and new company President, John Swiatek.

Swiatek went on to say "it is time to put trust and the fun back in the brand" as the new company is looking to restore faith in many long time Powerlet customers who were accustomed to great customer service and technical support. The new management team plans to announce it's new email and phone numbers in early January.

Powerlet LLC is also expected to rehire several of its previous employees in its new Sterling Heights location and it is rumored that the new management team is currently looking at a high-tech global distribution model for the Powerlet brand of products in 2019. Since going on-line in 2004, the Powerlet website has sold products globally, bringing in revenue from 74 countries into the Southeast Michigan area.
